Reasonable Accommodation and Accessibility for Students and Researchers With Autism Spectrum Disorders

چکیده

当事者研究と先行研究に基づくと、教育や研究の場面において生じる自閉スペクトラム症者の困難は四つに大別できる。一つめは感覚過敏であり、ストレスや不安、過剰適応の影響を常に考慮する必要がある。二つめはコミュニケーションの齟齬であり、その原因を自閉スペクトラム症者に負わせるのではなく、参加しやすいコミュニケーション・デザインや情報保障を考慮に入れることが重要である。三つめは実験や実習、レポートなどの課題を計画的に遂行することの困難であり、課題の文脈と作業のディテールという、マクロ・ミクロ双方の情報保障が有益な可能性がある。四つめは不器用さであり、教育課程のうちから自分のペースで機器の取り扱い方を練習する機会を保障することが望ましい。自閉スペクトラム症を含む精神発達障害全般において、先行研究のみならず当事者の語りや当事者研究の報告が、合理的配慮や基礎的環境整備を具体化する上で必須の知識と言える。
